Every seller is a BlackOak merchant, verified once and paid through BlackOak Commerce.

When does Marketplace open?
Our pilot opens with a first group of BlackOak merchants and invited shoppers after BlackOak Commerce goes live at the end of 2026. Marketplace opens to all shoppers in Q1 2027.
Who can sell on Marketplace?
Businesses that sell services, products or memberships and are approved as BlackOak merchants. Some categories need extra review, and licensed services are verified before they list.
What does it cost to sell?
One all-in fee on each Marketplace sale, with payment processing included. Your full pricing is set out before you sign anything.
I already take payments with BlackOak Commerce. What do I need to do?
Turn Marketplace on from your portal. Nothing is entered twice, and your Marketplace sales appear beside your Commerce sales.
Do shoppers need a BlackOak account?
Shoppers sign in once with BlackOak and pay with Pay by Bank or a card. A BlackOak Consumer account is not required.
How do rewards work?
Each merchant runs its own rewards and decides what its points are worth. Points stay with the merchant that gave them and are shown together in one wallet.
